April 19, 2024: This week, we chatted with Denise Trowbridge, introducing the new Cub Scout Troop in Capitan and exciting initiatives and details about their business after-hours event on May 16. Cisco Knox, with the Lions Club, also joined the show to discuss the Strides for Diabetes Awareness Walk and Health Fair fundraiser at Two Rivers Park from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on April 27, 2024.
April 11, 2024: This week, Phil Hamilton and Bradshaw Lambert dropped by to hype up the "Under a Mountain Sky" concert series, bringing free outdoor summer concerts to Wingfield Park from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Phil also rocked the studio with a live performance of his latest single, "Kansas." Taryn Benavidez from the Lincoln County Homebuilders Association swung by to talk about their Golf Scramble at The Links on April 28th, a weekend packed with music and golfing fun!
April 5, 2024: This week, Amanda Foster, Leroy Smith, and Brittanie Gonzales joined the show to announce The John Ashcraft Memorial Family Trail Run on April 20, 2024, at Grindstone Lake, sponsored by the Community Foundation of Lincoln County and Happy Hiker, and the recently created John Ashcraft Scholarship Fund. Additionally, Emily Hobbs was on the show to promote this weekend's concert with special guest Andy Hedges at Flying J Ranch.
March 29, 2024: This week, Scott Fitzgibbon from Oso Productions joined the show to promote this weekend's Lincoln After Dark event as well as the May 17-18, 2024, Lincoln Forest Renaissance Faire at Wingfield Park.
March 22, 2024: This week, Rotary Club President Rochelle Lentschke joined the show to promote their March 26 Enchilada Dinner and Bingo Night at the Ruidoso Convention Center as well as the Rotary Club of Ruidoso Duck Race fundraiser event on April 13 at Two Rivers Park. She also discussed the ENMU-Ruidoso Foundation Aim High Events in June. Javier Trost, Interpretive Ranger with Fort Stanton Historic Site, was also on the show to discuss Saturday’s Fort Stanton Easter Egg Hunt and other activities at Fort Stanton and Lincoln Historic Sites.
