  • Michael Martinez, Deputy Village Manager, provided updates on the recent flooding event and fielded questions from residents. Michael Martinez emphasized that the current priority is debris cleanup, particularly the removal of silt and large debris impacting roadways and infrastructure.

  • Adam Sanchez, Public Works Director, shared updates on the condition of the Village’s water and sewer systems, which were affected by the recent floods. He discussed ongoing repair efforts and the challenges posed by damage to underground infrastructure.

  • Curtis Willimason, of Schlotzsky’s joined to promote a fundraiser event taking place on Tuesday at Schlotzsky’s, where 100% of the day’s sales will be donated to the Community Foundation of Lincoln County in support of local flood recovery efforts.

  • Constance “Connie” Tucker was introduced as the Village’s new Water Resource Director. The session offered a chance for the community to meet her and learn about her role in overseeing water management and future planning.

  • Police Chief Steve Minner introduced the newest member of the police force, Officer Jay Gutierrez, signaling continued investment in public safety and community presence.
