July 4, 2025: In this episode, host Kidie Thornton and guest host Kris Shows sit down with Debbie Barbie, board president of the Humane Society of Lincoln County, along with pet adoption advocates Liz and Leroy Smith. They discuss the upcoming Furr Ball fundraiser, happening August 1 at Alto Lakes Country Club, and share heartfelt stories about pet rescue and adoption. Liz and Leroy also introduce their own rescue dogs, offering a glimpse into the joy and impact of giving animals a second chance.
