July 28, 2023: This week, Alisha Westmacott, Coordinator of the Lincoln County Community Health Council, and Carol Blue, volunteer for the Council, joined the show to promote the beginning of their Fun & Fit 8-Week Challenge with a walk around the Links Trail beginning at the Ruidoso Public Library on Saturday. They also provided information about what the council does in the community and more upcoming events.

Also discussed were increased measures for wildfire mitigation. Jhett Black dropped by the studio to promote live music at the recently opened Downshift Brewing Company Riverside, and Ruidoso Police Chief Lawrence Chavez provided his weekly update on police activities, stressing the ongoing need for police officers and 911 dispatchers.
