Eric Queller, Emergency Manager, discussed the incoming rain and expected weather events for the week and introduced the new Monsoon Season Awareness webpage and interactive RAIN map to help residents stay informed.
Adam Sanchez, Public Works Director, highlighted recent departmental projects and emphasized flood preparedness, including a reminder not to block roads during heavy rain events.
Fire Chief Cade Hall provided updates on the Seven Springs, Skyline, Trout, and Buck Fires and encouraged listeners to sign up for emergency alerts at CallMeRuidoso.com.
Michael Martinez, Deputy Village Manager, reported on the recent removal of silt and debris from rivers to improve water flow and flood safety.
