• Emergency Manager Eric Queller discussed the weather outlook for the remainder of May, noting forecasts are calling for above-average rainfall. He also recapped last week’s Flood Risk Workshop and encouraged residents to attend the next workshop on May 20.
• Fire Chief Cade Hall announced the arrival of two new fire vehicles for the department and explained that the Village’s ISO fire rating will improve to a Class 3 beginning July 1. He also reminded residents that fire pits and open flames remain prohibited under current Level 2 fire restrictions.
• Deputy Village Manager Heath Dobrovolny shared updates on the Emergency Watershed Protection (EWP) Buyout Program, including current application and review numbers.
• Public Works Director Levi Beaty provided updates on the 603 Mechem housing project and upcoming sewer maintenance work scheduled along Mechem Drive near the Alpine Village Cabins area.
