  • Michael Martinez, Deputy Village Manager, shared updates on the incoming renewable fuel plant and the jobs and gross receipts tax benefits it will bring to the region.

  • Levi Beaty, Public Works Director, reported on progress in the High Loop area water project, the Gavilan Canyon lift station, and the recently repaired leak at the Pikes Peak Water Tank.

  • Josh Long & Mark Coker, Streets Department, provided an overview of current work in Flume Canyon and offered a progress report on repairing street cuts and potholes throughout the Village.

  • Austin Meuli, Assistant Fire Chief, reminded residents to avoid overloading electrical outlets during the holiday season and noted that the Forest Service will be conducting pile burns this week, which may produce smoke in the area.

  • Eddie Ryan, Manager of Events & Strategic Partnerships , recapped Xterra’s recent scouting visit as they prepare for next October’s championship event.

  • David “TBone” Tetreault, Assistant Parks & Recreation Director, discussed last week’s Christmas Tree Lighting in Wingfield Park and shared news of his upcoming retirement after 30 years of service.
